(CBM - Coal Bed Methane Exploration Project) The exploration area is located in Samarinda and has a purpose to explore the CBM (Coal Bed Methane). The location is in the area of GOR Palaran, Bukit Pinang, Samarinda. The exploration program is to drill 1 (one) CBM well with using 1 unit Lonyear 44, which is carried out into several phases:
Total Drilling: 412m
Step 1: Open Hole, 7” (Large Diameter), with the hole depth of 12 meter
Step 2: Open Hole PQ, with the hole depth of 200 meter
Step 3: Coring HQ with the hole depth of 200 meter
The minimum core recovery is 95%.

The exploration is occupied with 2 units JDD200 and 1 unit JDD250 to explore for coal in Central Kalimantan. The method of obtaining cores is angle drilling with the open hole, touch coring and full coring method. Minimum core recovery is 80%.

The selection phase study program will focus on the three corners areas, mainly at Juloi Coal. The exploration is to be carried out at various remote sites accessible by helicopter and, to a limited extent, by unsurfaced roads. We are responsible in 3 main aspects, which are site preparation, drilling program and site rehabilitation. The Drilling program will utilise 4 (four) heli-portable rigs of Longyear 38 and two man-portable rigs of Jacro 175.

The access team is preparing the adequate location of the drilling access and the drill pad. The team consist with a leader access, chainsaw operators and access crew. The activities conduct in a professional, safe and expeditious manner.

At these BHP Biliton projects, our company achieved high-quality drilling results with the highest achievement of HQ size and also succeeded in operating bulk sampling drilling of 6 inch core with the record core recovery achievement of 95% to 100%.

 

The project is located into three main sites :

1. MARUWAI COAL

PT. Dunggio Drilling is responsible for six Drilling Rigs :

• 3 Rigs Longyear 38, and
• 3 Drilling Rigs Jacro

 

 

2. LAHAI COAL

PT. Dunggio Drilling is responsible for five Drilling Rigs :

• 2 Rigs Jacro 175
• 1 Rig Jacro 200
• 1 Rig Longyear 44
• 1 Rig Longyear 38

 

3. KALTENG COAL

 

PT. TMI has occupied Jacro 200 for 2 units that operated at Sangkulirang, East Kalimantan. We are working to define JORC, with minimum core recovery 95%.

The project comprise of four mine sites:

• Senakin Mine Site (South Kalimantan)
• Mulia, Asam – Asam Mine Site (South Kalimantan). PT. Dunggio Drilling succeeded to achieve high standard drilling depth result of approximately 300 meter HQ on sandy soil from surface to bottom. Most drilling contractors are unwilling to drill at the site, but our company was successful and proven that it is not impossible
• Satui Mine Site (South Kalimantan)
• Batulicin Mine Site (South Kalimantan)

On these projects PT. Dunggio Drilling operated eight Unit Rigs at different mining sites and drilled to a depth of over 47.000 meter in total.

 

 

 

PT. Dunggio Drilling worked for six months, from February 2008 to August 2008, and operated two Unit Rigs Longyear 38 & Longyear 44. We drilled to a depth of over 6000 meters in total.

 

 

 

PT. Dunggio Drilling worked from November 2007 to April 2008 and employed one unit Longyear 38 which was operated in two shifts for five months and drilled to a total depth of 4,500 meters in total, as targeted.

 

 

PT. Dunggio Drilling worked from February 2009 and employed five units of Jacro 175, one unit Jacro 200 and one unit RB37.

 

This project located at Tanah grogot and has been being undertaken by Diamond Core Drilling (Wire Line System). On this project, PT. Dunggio Drilling has been operating 2 Rig Edson 200 started from April 2009.

 

 

Dunggio Drilling worked with one unit Jacro 175 Single Rod, drilling for each hole depth up to 130m HQ size with Gravels Formations all the way to the bottom mixed with Soil Loose formations without leaving one single rod or bit down the hole.
